What does MinRejseplan mean?
MinRejseplan means "My JourneyPlanner", indicating that here is an app you can really tailor to your specific needs regarding transportation suggestions.
What is MinRejseplan?
MinRejseplan is based on Rejseplanen, one of Denmark's most popular apps, and technologically it is geared to integrate all modes of public transport in the future, whether it's driverless shuttle buses or driverless taxis.
Initially, MinRejseplan is a pilot project that brings together both public and private transport and other forms of mobility in North Denmark Region and the Copenhagen area.
In MinRejseplan, customers will receive travel suggestions with other forms of transport such as GoMore, Bycyklen and DriveNow(city bikes and city cars in the Copenhagen metropolitan area), Plustur (demand responsive transport) and taxis in MinRejseplan, while in the rest of Denmark, the app functions in the same way as Rejseplanen, i.e. with travel searches using public transport.
This is the first time that public and private modes of transport are integrated into the same travel app and it is the starting point for travel planning in the future. We are constantly working to make it easier for travellers to get from A to B. The useful experience that we receive from travellers in the Copenhagen area and North Denmark Region, where MinRejseplan was launched in the spring, is being used to constantly develop and improve MinRejseplan and Rejseplanen.
Is MinRejseplan available on the internet?
No, MinRejseplan is only available as an app and can be downloaded to iPhone via the App Store and to Android via Google Play. It is intended that eventually, you will also be able to access all modes of transport on www.rejseplanen.dk and in the Rejseplanen app.
How do I search for a trip?
To find a trip, enter where you want to travel from and your destination and when you wish to leave. You can also use our smart ‘Drag&Drop’ search, where you swipe from one of the addresses to another on the front of the app.
What’s new about MinRejseplan?
If you live in Copenhagen or North Denmark Region, you can search for both public transport and other modes of transport. Among others, you can search for and book trips with GoMore, Bycyklen, Plustur and private taxis in MinRejseplan. If you live outside the Copenhagen area or North Denmark Region, you can search for trips with public transport, just like in the Rejseplanen app.
What is a trip proposal?
When you search in the app, you will be offered different travel proposals in the journey summary. When you click on the proposed trips, you receive precise information about when you will depart, when you arrive, how many changes you may need, and how long your journey will take in total.
You can always see earlier or later journeys than those displayed by clicking "earlier" or "later" at the bottom of the trip proposals.
When you click on the trip proposal, you receive more information about the journey, including the price of the trip. You can also receive information about the journey by text, e-mail or directly to your calendar, or you can book the parts of the journey where this is an option.
The app is a travel planner that can conveniently, quickly and clearly plan your trip to the minute, with travel suggestions, so you don’t have to calculate times, schedules and routes for yourself.
How do I search for the departure time, price or duration of my journey?
Once you have found the trip, you will be given the option to filter using various parameters. You can filter according to the sort by the departure time, price or duration of the journey.
How do I find the quickest, cheapest and next departure?
At the top of the display of your trip proposals, you have the option to filter your search results according to the next departure, cheapest price or fastest journey by clicking on one of these options.
How do I display prices and tickets?
The overview of possible journeys shows the price of each trip. When you then look at the details of the individual trip, you can scroll down to see the price. You will also be informed of which types of ticket you can use on the journey.
In addition to showing you the price of the trip, the app will also allow you to book the parts of the trip where this is possible. Among other options, you will be able to buy a ticket for the bus or train, or book a taxi.
How do I search on the front of the app?
The ‘Drag&Drop’ feature can be used to make quick searches between your recent destinations and your favourites. Use 'Drag&Drop' by dragging the square icon to another.
How do I add my favourite addresses to ‘Drag&Drop’?
You can add addresses, stations and stops to your favourites in "Settings" in the menu on the left. Your favourites are used in ‘Drag&Drop’ on the front page.
Can I book a trip or buy a ticket in MinRejseplan?
MinRejseplan shows you every possible trip available. If you wish to book a taxi or a City Bike, or buy a ticket for the train, we will link you out of the app and directly to where you can purchase a ticket or book a trip with the relevant company. This makes the entire process far more convenient for you!
